Passive Subject + to be (is/are) + Past Participle

It is often used in business and in other areas where the object of the action is more important than those who perform the action.

For Example:

Everyone drinks the water.
The water is drunk by it.

Passive Subject + to be in past (was/were) + Past Participle + by complement

Example:

We studied English on Monday.
English was studied by us on Monday.

Example:
